The Human Relief Project is aware and compliant with international standards for NGO disaster relief. Furthermore, it is adheres to the International Committee of the Red Cross’s International Humanitarian Law in regards to conduct and engagement in crisis situations. We never enter a country or emergency situation without a very warm welcome and do not consider it our right to provide relief in all situations. We aim to create relationships that are one hundred percent beneficial to a community. If some of our ideas are not amenable to those we try to assist, we will respectfully modify our plans or remove our operation. We intend to create a movement that is widely accepted, encouraged and appreciated – fueled by respect rather than might.
